FOUNDER'S STORY
The Woman Behind PIDCO
Mutesi is the heart and mind behind PIDCO – Preachers of Islamic Daawa and Charity Organization. Her journey started with a simple question: “Who will stand for the children no one is looking at?”
Growing up, she saw how poverty, violence and broken homes can quietly erase a child’s chances in life. Guided by Islamic values of mercy (rahmah), justice and compassion, she refused to be a silent observer.
Through PIDCO, she now leads a committed team providing shelter, education, skills, psychosocial support and spiritual guidance – so vulnerable children can heal, feel safe, and dream again.
